Link has almost everything on hand, the only characters to compete with him is Solid Snake and Samus Aran! XDDDD What's NOT to love about Kirby, he proves once again how appearences can be deceiving. Lucas is also a force to be reckoned with, I actually play as HIM now over Ness as a result.

Marth, along with Roy, first debuted to Western fare in SSBM obviously, and seeing the two characters in Melee kinda changed my views on Nintendo forever. "There was MUCH more to the world of Nintendo.", I realized and had me want to learn more and more about Nintendo, it's past, present, AND future. Fire Emblem games also happen to kick @$$, the first of their kind to have ever been created, one to spawn many imitators. ^__^

Pikachu's indeed a good fighter, but I'm just too busy thinking about the others before him. DX Ganondorf is STILL a disapointment to me, a clone of Captain Falcon had me fret, but at LEAST he's improved a bit more in Brawl, but still...why tease us with that sword. D= From what I have seen, Zelda is a great fighter, again tho, like Pikachu, there's just too many others I can play before them.

omg I KNOW lol... I think if you keep playing and get accustomed to that character you naturally play better with them. Like with Zelda, I seem to play very well with her and know how to get back onto the stage when Sheik (who's really light) flies off the stage lol but ZELDA has really powerful moves (din's fire, etc) and it's a great balance for me, personally ^0^~

But ppl are kinda surprised when I tell them that I enjoy playing with char. like Marth and Roy !!

And you know.. I KNEW I should've changed Ganondorf with Cpt. Falcon ==;; I think it's because of my eternal devotion to Zelda (lol) that I put all three triforce bearers on the list, hehe (no toon link tho...)

Pit is pretty good too, and so are the StarFox Cast, but yeah, I just like Sheik/Zelda xD

And I'm surprised I didn't add ANY Mario Bros. characters, hehe... or SONIC !! >__> I should make a new list lol~~ thanks for the comment !!

I see, that IS true about Zelda, I remember I had my ass handed to someone playing Zelda in a sudden death using her Din's Fire. DX

Really, I'm only surprised to see how people agree that Marth and Roy are awesome! I think Ike is awesome too, in Brawl I use Marth for serious competition, and Ike for instant kills like Multi-man Melee modes. Roy's awesome too, but I've NEVER had the oppurtunity to actually launch a fully-charged sword slash before. You ever managaed to successfully do that before?

Haha, I totally understand YOUR deal on having three of the Triforce bearers there now that I think about it. It's actually my fault back then with Melee was that I expected too much out of Ganondorf. As I said, I feel more at ease with him in Brawl tho, but STILL I think Ganondorf has MORE potential to be a competent, original fighter. His Final Smash makes me happy to see he can transform into Ganon at least! ^^

I love Pitt, makes me wish they could revive Kid Icarus. Can't forget the Starfox cast either, one event match in Melee ticked me off having to play only Ness and fight Falco tho, >_> unpleasent memories! Wolf was quite a surprise to me, and playing as him can be fun.

As for the Mario Bros., Mario is obviously a character I used in my team of 5 in the Subspace Emissary, I like Luigi because I can be silly with him but STILL be serious at the same time too. When I first saw Peach's Final Smash, I was like O___O after seeing it. Bowser's okay, again, I just don't play as him much. Sonic is cool too, his final smash is one of the only ones I cannot dodge for crap, my brother's lucky he has his way with me for now... >__> but one day I will find a way to outlast his Super Sonic form. Funny how the first time I played Sonic and hadn't even practiced with him before, I still won that match against three of my other friends anyway. XDDD

But yeah, to summarize all you said, I've tried every character in Brawl and Melee and there's a whole lot of variety~~ but I think, I agree with you on most of everything.. I really don't like Peach, LOL she contradicts everything for FEMALE CHARACTERS with the whole blonde and kinda useless vibe lol... I was glad when Zelda also got captured in the subspace emisary and KICKED ASS while Peach sat around and had a cup of tea, hehe

And yes.. I agree Ganondorf could've been better >"< BUT.. yeah his supersmash KINDA make me smile lol... alot f my friends don't like the whole "beat the glowy ball up" super smash deal, but I actually enjoy it... it sort of gives tribute to alot of the games, like Zelda's light arrows, GANON, even Mario turning GIGANTIC, Snake's sniping thing and DK's congo drums LOL

altho.. luigi's supersmash was a bit of a... drugtrip lol but yeaaah, I think we already had this convo but... CLOUD should totally make some kind of weird appearance hehe... have you ever heard of itadaki street? It's kind of like MARIO PARTY except it's FINAL FANTASY and DRAGON QUEST but its only in Japan D: heh~~

I actually could see WHY Snake underestimated both of them if Peach were around. If I were Snake and only Zelda were there, I'd think differently.

Yes, I LOVE the Final Smash, now it made SSB even MORE like Marvel vs. Capcom, but beating up the smash ball made Super Smash Bros. different too.

Final Fantasy characters deserve a shot at SSB if even Metal Gear had it's stab in it. I have heard of the Itadaki Street games they ARE pretty cool, I read a DS version of the game crossed over Mario characters also.

That's exactly how I feel, new Zelda game that helps the Wii become even better than before, if anything I think there needs to be sequel to the Twilight Princess. At least I can rest easy knowing I can play FF XIII on the Xbox 360, if I care about Versus XIII so much I can just play it on my friend's PS3 anyway. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is going to be released on 360 and PS3 as a download! I feel happy already! ^_^

I hope so...my friend didn't shut up about Nintendo's E3 summit last year, I still have hope for Nintendo as even the president stated an apology for the mistake or whatever they did last year or so.
